The Gallery contains the work of Derek Ralphs who along with Rev Arthur Dobb photographed as many churches as possible in the Greater Manchester area in the 1970s. Many were published in a special, now out of print book entitled "Like a mighty tortoise, A history of the Manchester Diocese". The photos offer a unique glimpse of churches and their interiors. There is also a photo of the outstanding Manchester Central Library building.
