HRS 1464 Leigh, Parsonage Pit

Photo shows interviewing for a BBC local radio on coalmining for a ground-breaking serious of educational programme on the fledgling BBC Radio Manchester. The series funded by the WEA Workers Educational Association was transmitted in 1974.
