A view of one of the stands at Burnden Park Football ground in c1977. Burnden Park was the home of Bolton Wanderers between 1895 and 1997. The ground hosted the replay of the FA Cup in 1901, but is more famously known for the Burnden Park Disaster on 3rd March 1946 when overcrowding at the railway end (north) of the ground led to 33 Bolton Wanderers fans being crushed to death.
