HRS 4216 Manchester to Bury, Irk Valley Viaduct area 1973
Electric train driver's view of the Irk Valley viaduct site of the tragic railway accident on 15th Aug 1953 when the electric train was in collision with a steam train. Nine passengers and the train driver were killed when several coaches careered off the viaduct.
