"The Parish Church of St Bartholomew is in the picturesque village of Chipping, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. A beautiful church built in 1506, although there has been a church on this site since 596 AD. This ancient church hosts a peel of six bells, which were cast in 1793, several 19th century stained glass windows and an 1876 'Henry Willis' organ".
