"Bedale's School Memorial Library. 1920. Designed by Ernest Gimson and made after his death by Geoffrey Lupton and Edward Barnsley under the supervision of Sidney Barnsley using local hand made bricks, English Oak, and plain, hand cut roof tiles. With ironwork made locally by Stevie Mustoe." 600 rush seated chairs were made for Sidney Barnsley by Edward Gardiner to a Gimson design and 11 arm chairs by Walter Berry. I don't know who made the tables but it was probably Sidney Barnsley.
