HRS 2270 Lake District, Stott Park bobbin mill steam engine
A horizontal steam engine provided power for the bobbin mill at Finsthwaite. The engine was made by Bradley of Leeds. The wood shavings from the floor of the mill were used in the boiler to raise steam. The is a close up of the governor that controlled the speed of the engine. 1968
