HRS 1050 Melynllyn Iron wheel hone quarry buildings 2003

Little survives of the original cutting and splitting mechanism of the honestone mill at Melynllyn except the iron shaft from the waterwheel. The picture shows a take-up pulley wheel which conveyed power to machinery via a moving belt.
