HRS 2907 Radcliffe, 7 pits looking NW 1968

The seven pits were a series of medieval shallow ladder-pit coal mine shafts following an outcrop. It is situated between Coventry road and Greenbank Road, Radcliffe. It was also known as 'Curnbry'.
