HRS 10781 Radcliffe, Rams Mine coalseam outcrop, Seven Pits c1967

Exposure of the Rams Mine (mine= coal seam) in the eastern side of the former Radcliffe Central to Bolton railway cutting. The Rams Mine is an important seam and its outcrop aligns with the Seven Pit workings qv. (Search site box for Seven Pits) Its thickness is 3ft 6 inches to four feet.
