HRS 1904 Monkey Bridge Radcliffe

An original East Lancashire Railway Bridge of 1846 known locally as the Monkey Bridge because of the cast iron 'cage-effect' and the fact that adventurous young men would swing on the underside of bridge right across the river Irwell. 2005.
