HRS 480 Stainscombe Dole, Pendle Hill 1980s

The pond marks the spot of a glacial moraine left behind as the last ice of Pendle's glaciation retreated. The area known as Stainscombe Dole, is on the southern side of Pendle near Sabden Fold.
