HRS 528 MBBC Whittaker Bridge looking towards Bury c1971
On the left is the former loading bay for the Whittaker Bridge Colliery. The first dismantled bridge was an access bridge, and the far bridge carried the Withins Junction to Bradley Fold railway link.
