St Philip's Church, Salford, was designed by Sir Robert Smirke in 1825, the building’s Greek style is unique in Salford. This view of the church from Chapel St is the most impressive, with its bow fronted porch, ionic colonnade and ballustraded parapet and bell tower above. The main entrance is around the corner at the west end of the church. This photograph was taken in 1977.
