HRS 140 Manchester, Bolton and Bury Canal, Nob End Breach 1936

A more detailed shot of the canal breach at Nob End from the opposte side of the valley looking north. The slip plane sandstone (Nob End Rock) along which the breach occurred is clearly visible. The coal boat can be seen perched on the edge where it was left by the escaping water. The structures on the horizon appear to be old caravans.
