The loss of the photo archive on the internet is regrettable and illustrates all too well the need to alert online users to Collections, a service provided by HeritagePhotoArchive. Bury Image Bank was an important on-line resource allowing access to historical images of Bury. The database showcased over 18,000 images of streets and buildings from c. 1850 to the present day.
