HRS 305 MBBC Farmer's Arms Feb 1968

The Farmer's Arms public house was originally a farmhouse. Behind the building is the Elton storage reservoir embankment. To the left just out of shot was where the water issued from the reservoir into the canal. Notice the stone fence made from flagstones quarried in Rossendale.
