HRS 9785 Hulme family, Harpurhey, family groups

Photo from a glass negative kindly donated by Phil Moran. Phil describes the photo:
This is my Hulme Family in c1890. Two families lived at 17 and 19 Annis Street, Harpurhey, Moston, Manchester. In the doorway of number 17 are Ruth Hulme (nee Colley) 30 with her son Joshua, born 1890 in her arms. In front of her is her daughter Bertha 4, holding the the little pram. Ruth’s husband Joseph was presumably at work. The girl in white is obviously a family member but I cannot hazard a guess as to who she might be. In the doorway of 19 are Elizabeth Hulme 51 (nee Street) and her husband James Hulme 52 a wire weaver. In front of them is their daughter Maria Hulme 11 and to right her sisters Jessie 16 and Beatrice 14. Finally the family cat. Joseph Hulme was the son of James and Elizabeth and was my great grandfather, Bertha Hulme was my paternal grandmother.
