HRS 772 Llanddulas cave interior till deposits

A series of solution caves in the Carboniferous Clwyd limestone on the north Wales coast near Abergele. It is thought the caves were formed in a period before the Ice Age, partly because of their elevated position and partly because of the nature of cave deposits. PHOTO: The photo shows Ice Age till deposits in one of the caves.
