The village of Maulds Meaburn in the Eden Valley had its corn mill on the banks of the River Lyvennet. The mill was converted to a house some years ago, and was photographed by Mike Davies-Shiel of the Cumbria Industrial History Society. The opportunity arose during a recent visit in association with the Cumbria Vernacular Buildings Group to re-photograph the building and environs. Mike Davies-Shiel's photos and papers are now held by Cumbria Archives, on behalf of the Cumbria Industrial History Society whose kind permission to include the photos is gratefully acknowledged.
