HRS 10550 Croglin, Victorian Barn NY576 475 L1190568
Large barn of Penrith red sandstone probably obtained from the nearby quarry several hundred yards away. It is built against the hillside, suggesting a bank barn with entry from the hillside to the upper floor. There has been some re-building. The dry stone wall (left rear) is made of Penrith Red Sandstone and the dry stone wall on the right of the photo is of Carboniferous limestone suggesting different ownerships.
