HRS 666 The Britannia rope and twine works, pot-eyes

Rope slivver passing through a pot-eye. Pot-eyes were extensively used in the bleaching industry to transfer cloth to the the bleaching kier and around the bleach-croft. It appears to be a re-use of the pot-eye for rope-making preparation.
