HRS 2282 Burnley weaving shed c1890

A stereoscopic image of an unnamed weaving shed in Burnley, taken by the Burnley photographer ME Wright, Hollingreave Road, Burnley. The picture shows a weaver posing for the camera in front of overpick cotton looms. There are two men in the picture probably tacklers, men responsible for maintaining and keeping the looms running. There were however male weavers as well. The weaving shed is empty suggesting this was photographed in the summer after the weavers had gone home. KH
