Saved in the nick of time!
This extensive collection of 35mm slides was saved from the rubbish tip at the very last minute and presented to a local history society, who in turn presented it to the Heritage Image Archive. Saving a selection of scans from this Collection is exactly what the Heritage Image Archive was set up to do!

The Collection from an unknown photographer chronicles places, churches, and scenes from the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Lancashire, Shropshire, North Wales and Scotland. This section of the overall Collection contains images of Cheshire and Liverpool buildings etc. KH
