HRS 3262 Chester General Station, steam locomotive 46257 c1962
Chester was one of the last places in the UK to see steam locomotives in regular use. The steam locomotive a Coronation Class 4-6-2 46257 "City of Salford" built in 1947 and was one of a number of locos operating the non-electrified line from Crewe to Holyhead.
