HRS 135 Sail beck and Knott Rigg, nr Buttermere

The glacial valley to the left has been modified by subsequent drainage. Interestingly for a glacial valley, it appears to have interlocking spurs and is not a 'true' u-shaped structure. This suggests several periods of modification.
