HRS 9453 Great Asby, copper mine tunnel interior L1170817
An entrance or sough (drainage tunnel) from the 19th century Great Asby Copper Mine. The mine was worked from shafts on the limestone pavement to the west. The interior shows dry stone walling by the 19th century miners.
