Trefriw is a small village on the western side of the Conwy Valley near Llanrwst. It lies on the very edge of Snowdonia in one of the most beautiful parts of North Wales. In the past the principal industry (apart from tourism and mining) was the woollen trade, The Trefriw Woollen Mills are still in existence in the village.
