HRS 6586 Ordovician, Funzie conglomerates, Fetlar 2006

NGR 66160 90145 The conglomerates are spectacularly exposed on the east side of Fetlar in Shetland. They are of considerable interest to geologists as the clasts are often elongated or shaped caused by the pressure of mountain building. (Funzie is pronounced fu'ni')
