HRS 4940 Humphrey Head, near vertical fault plane 2008

Many of the Carboniferous limestone headlands are formed by parallel geological faulting. The fault plane is clearly visible on the west side of Humphrey Head where a number of small caves have been created beneath fallen rock. (See extreme right of photo)
