HRS 3156 Radcliffe, Congregational school c1880s

The Congregational Day-school was opened in 1874. Judging by the fashion and dress-style the picture was taken sometime between 1874 and 1880. A number of children on the front row are wearing wooden clogs. The reverse of the 1 penny (1d) postcard was marked "With the complimenets of the Season".
