During the demolition of the "Commercial Hotel" on Railway Street in Radcliffe c 1980 the outline of man was discovered etched on to the window glass. No-one truly knows much about it, but inevitably there were stories of ghosts at the Hotel and in the building across the road which was the telephone exchange. KH
