HRS 1619 Stainscombe, moraine, Pendle Hill 1980s

Towards the end of the last stage of the current Ice Age, Pendle has its own small glaciers. The evidence for this was a glacial moraine situated near Stainscombe Dole Hall. Unfortunately, the moraine was levelled during renovation work on the hall. The moraine can be seen on the right of this photo.
