HRS 2276 Lake District, Stott Park bobbin Mill interior 1968

The view shows the general layout of the downstairs part of the mill. The worker with his back to the photographer is producing small bobbins. Mr Ivision the then owner is the man with the cap on the left. He is taking an order for bobbins from Billy (William) Johnson whose work as a photographer is featured elsewhere on the Heritage Image Register. He owned a small sewing thread manufacturing company at Radcliffe near Manchester.
