Historical street view Manchester area 1940s, 1950s showing Ordnance Survey revision point marking. A remarkable photo showing the surveyor at Radcliffe Central Station working close to the running rail and within a foot or so of the live rail which carried 1200 V DC. The Lancashire and Yorkshire electric train is in the platform ready to leave for Manchester. 1953
