Radcliffe, Black Lane, Station and cotton spinning mill

Historical street view Manchester area 1940s, 1950s showing Ordnance Survey revision point marking. View looking eastward towards Black Lane Railway Station. On the right back is Black Lane Cotton Spinning Mills, although at the itme the photo was taken it was occupied by the Greengate and Irwell Rubber Company. Note the signal box extra tall, because the signalman could not see the station, and the terraced houses on the right.
