Bolton, Back o'th' Bank Power Station RIBA17535

The view by canal photographer Eric de Mare is taken looking south towards Bolton Town Centre in 1956. The River Tonge has clearly been encroached upon (left of photo). In the background is the Dart Spinning Mill with the twin chimneys of the power station clearly visible photo centre.
