Oldham Local Studies and Archives holds over 60,000 images reflecting all aspects of the history of Oldham and surrounding Districts, including Chadderton, Crompton, Failsworth, Lees, Royton and Saddleworth. Subjects covered include the cotton industry, local buildings and events and a substantial collection of photographs of streets from the 1960s and 1970s many of which no longer exist.
