HRS 1240 Cerrigydrudion, Gilar farmhouse horse-whim

"Giler is a long domestic range dated 1623 (rainwater heads and overmantel inside) and 1675 (inscription to left of gateway). There were later additions and alterations. The 5 bay north front is two storeys and constructed of whitewashed rubble with slate roof and rubble stacks. There are 3, 4 and 5-light mullioned windows under timber lintels with leaded glazing. There is a solid gabled porch with an arched entrance and an inner boarded door with studding and fine ironwork hinges. The south front has a cross-range forward on right and partly overlapping lateral chimney projection and second central projection with lean-to."(Source: Cadw listing description) J Hill 22/06/2004 RCAM Wales.
