The Whicham Valley lies due north-west of the Cumbrian Town of Millom running north-east south-west with great bulk of Black Combe on its north west edge. This little known valley is beautiful and seldom visited by mass tourism. A glacial valley, the Whitecombe Valley cuts deep into Black Combe.
