The words 'We are seven' are contained within a poem by William Wordsworth in 1798. It is a poem about poverty, famine and death and features a child. Conwy claims that Wordsworth wrote the poem whilst in the town, but there is other evidence which suggests it was written in England. Whatever the truth, the grave in Conwy Church graveyard has been part of the Conwy tourist trail for many years. The Wikipedia entry contains further explanation and the verses. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_are_Seven
