HRS 30 Armorial carving Plas Mawr, Conwy

"Plas Mawr is an architectural gem, the finest surviving town house of the Elizabethan era to be found anywhere in Britain." So says the guide book. It was built by Robert Wynn a wealthy traveller and member of the Welsh gentry. Inside is a superb Elizabethan Hall with lavish decoration.
