HRS 3277 Crewe locomotive works, steam loco 3020 open day 1970s
The steam locomotive 3020 was built for the LNWRly in 1847 by Francis Trevithick (son of Richard). It was built at Crewe Works, and subsequently re-built by Ramsbottom in 1858. It is reported to have worked on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway until as late 1902. It is now a preserved locomotive.
