HRS 373 Men digging Church Bay, Anglesey 2003

The photograph shows men digging for bait on the beach at Church Bay, Anglesey, also known in Welsh as Porth Swtan. The group of Islands on the horizon are The Skerries. One of the definitions in The Welsh Dictionary defines Swtan as "wet and unpleasant as of the weather" which is probably about right. KH
